About Dr. Omilian

Karen Omilian is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been practicing psychiatry for over 30 years. Dr. Omilian was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, and attended college locally at St Peter's before moving to Des Moines Iowa to attend medical school there. She graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and then did her psychiatric residency program at Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus, NJ. Dr. Omilian has wide, varied, and diverse psychiatric experience having served as the Medical Director of an inpatient psychiatric unit at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and as the Medical Director of their Partial Hospital Program at Hackensack University Medical Center. She has maintained a private practice since 1992.
